Super Soldier in the City

Chapter 2407 - 2471: Heart of Slaughter

Chapter 2407 - 2471: Heart of Slaughter

Two days later, Ox, Tiger, and Sheep all arrived at Green Mouse’s room. Among these three, Ox was a white woman with an extraordinary physique, seemingly from Northern Europe, with ghostly pale skin and large pores, so close that one could see her coarse, long body hair.Tiger was a Black man, not quite purely Black, but had dark skin, a tall figure over two meters, and explosive muscles. His eyes were dark red, seemingly afflicted with a disease, emitting a thick killing intent, glaring at others fiercely, exuding a murderous aura, as if completely ignorant of restraint.

This guy was one of the most ferocious among the Twelve Holy Beasts, having killed several people upon arriving in South Africa, be it his subordinates or those who carelessly provoked him.

Of course, with Tiger’s identity and status, killing a few people wouldn’t bother anyone, not even Green Mouse stationed here. The life and death of ordinary people didn’t matter much within the Noah’s Ark Organization.

Sheep was a man with Eastern features, well-proportioned, about 1.8 meters tall, with long, almost knee-length arms, long face, sporting a goatee, around thirty years old, such attire and age could make him seem very gentlemanly, though in reality, he wasn’t. The name Sheep sounds weak or relatively safe, but it also signifies slaughter, as this guy was also ruthless in killing.

As for Green Mouse, his features were hard to discern, with very dark skin, but not the kind of blackness seen in Blacks, more like suntanned, with concentrated features that couldn’t be described as sneaky rat-like, generally of low resolution, coupled with a height of less than 1.6 meters, making his presence very low.

The three arrived at Green Mouse’s place simultaneously, and although they hadn’t spoken yet, Green Mouse had already guessed their purpose. He sat in his seat, smiled at the three, and said, "We’re all allies, no need for formalities, have a seat."

"Green Mouse, those two have been missing for two days, and here in South Africa, they’ve been missing for two days and still not found by our people!" Tiger spoke, revealing a mouthful of white teeth, questioning sharply.

Green Mouse nodded, "I’m aware of this matter!"

"Your people are too incompetent. I’ve decided to go out and lure them out actively; between the three of us, we can’t possibly fail to handle those two!" Ox said.

Green Mouse looked at the silent Sheep, "You share this view?"

Sheep smiled slightly, "I neither agree nor oppose. I can handle Li Yifei, leave the Holy Maiden to the other two."

Upon listening, Green Mouse felt speechless; this trio was dead set on taking the initiative. After pondering for a moment, he said, "If you insist, report to Green Dragon yourself. I’ll stay here and proceed with the plan."

"Cowardly as a mouse, indeed. You’ll just hide in your hole all your life!" Ox scoffed, hearing Green Mouse’s words, spoke disdainfully.

Tiger also snorted, tapped the desk lightly, making soft thumping sounds, then said, "Fine, since you’re not going, we won’t force you. After all, we’re here for a mission, finishing early means going back early!"

Green Mouse couldn’t help but say, "The captain didn’t order you to kill those two, stick to the plan..."

"Enough! That’s just the captain’s idea, the best outcome. But if we can’t capture them, we’ll have to kill them. Facing such experts, killing them is far easier than capturing them!" Ox interrupted.

Green Mouse raised his hand and smiled instead, "Then suit yourselves, I’ll stick to my principles!"

"Haha!" Sheep sneered, being the first to walk out, followed by Tiger and Ox turning and leaving.

At Green Mouse’s desk, a few seconds later, a soft cracking sound was heard, in the spot Tiger’s fingers had tapped, which suddenly cracked as if a bullet had gone in, spider-webbing out with repeated cracking sounds, and soon, the entire desk fractured and shattered with a boom.

Watching the scene before him, Green Mouse’s eyebrows twitched slightly, then he shook his head lightly, murmuring to himself, "Too long in retreat, not thinking straight. Do you really think you’re the strongest in this world?"

Clearly, no one answered his question for now. After all, those three had left.

So where exactly were Li Yifei and the Holy Maiden at that moment? Had their two-day disappearance been spent hiding in the shadows to search and investigate...

It wasn’t. Li Yifei and the Holy Maiden were indeed in hiding, but over the last two days, they were dealing with a specific issue...

A factory from Huaxia had been raided by a gang. Such incidents weren’t uncommon; vicious gangs often engaged in such actions, usually not causing harm, primarily for money, extorting and robbing before retreating. However, this time, the factory fought back, leading to a shootout and casualties.

If it were merely this, Li Yifei might not have intervened, considering there are over a billion compatriots worldwide, it’s impossible for him to oversee all. After all, choosing to go abroad to places like these for business is also a pursuit of wealth, of interest. However, upon hearing gunfire, Li Yifei and the Holy Maiden’s first reaction was someone seeking trouble, thereby rushing over, resulting in witnessing, right before Li Yifei a three or four-year-old, exceptionally beautiful little girl being shot in the head with a bullet.

Li Yifei and the Holy Maiden saw vividly as the previously lively, beautiful, and adorable little girl’s body suddenly jerked, her forehead bursting with a spray of blood, her body tumbling forward, especially since the girl had Eastern features, neither Black nor White.

Hearing a woman desperately calling for her daughter, Li Yifei confirmed it was his fellow countrywoman, causing an unquenchable fire of anger to rise within him—damn it, this was truly despicable.

Li Yifei rushed over immediately. Though uncertain of what had happened, upon seeing a group of armed thugs shouting and shooting, even killing several Easterners including a child, he was furious beyond control. So he decided to kill them all.

That wasn’t enough; Li Yifei also found the gang’s headquarters and slaughtered everyone inside.

The Saint didn’t stop Li Yifei; instead, she helped him handle the aftermath, as such killings were no small matter. Even the dim-witted police in South Africa couldn’t ignore so many deaths without reacting.

Because of this, once the situation was handled, the whereabouts of Li Yifei and the Saint were exposed.

At night, while sleeping, Li Yifei held the Saint, her gentle hands massaging his back.

"Does this make me seem too murderous?" Li Yifei suddenly opened his eyes and asked the Saint.

The Saint shook her head, saying, "You’re asking if, as a Saint, seeing the one I love kill so many people in a fit of rage would be excessive?"

"Yeah!"

"It would, but I won’t blame you. They weren’t good people, even if not all deserved death. Yet if my fellow countrymen were similarly bullied and died tragically before my eyes, I would also lash out!" The Saint gently touched Li Yifei’s cheek, saying, "Some actions may not be right, but inaction is certainly wrong, follow your heart."

Li Yifei’s facial muscles relaxed; he felt no guilt inside. Had he felt remorse for killing people, he wouldn’t have lasted these years. Yet the Saint’s opinion mattered greatly to him.

Of course, this wasn’t a petty act—Li Yifei was merely being a little playful, wanting the Saint to express her true thoughts.

"Tomorrow, we’ll go find them; I’ve roughly located their whereabouts."

"Okay!" Li Yifei held the Saint, gazing at her alluring red lips, kissing them.

The two were fearless and, though unsure of the dangers residing at the Noah’s Ark base nearby, they were ready to confront any type of enemy.

The next day, after waking up, Li Yifei and the Saint freshened up, found a place to eat, and were halfway through their meal when they noticed three people entering. Their combination was oddly styled, not only in appearance but also in clothing.

These three were none other than Huang Niu, White Sheep, and Black Tiger, who had come looking for Li Yifei and the Saint. Once the two were exposed, this trio set out immediately, coming without reservations upon pinpointing their location.

At that moment, Li Yifei was halfway through his meal, while the Saint had finished. Seeing the three enter, Li Yifei squinted slightly; he could sense the intense killing intent from Black Tiger, who didn’t hold back his aura, making it very intimidating. Not that the other two weren’t strong, but they were slightly more restrained.

The Saint too sensed this, turning to see the three already in front. Black Tiger shoved aside a server attempting to inquire, his crimson eyes locked on Li Yifei, overwhelming killing intent emanating.

White Sheep was the same, her muscles tensed, causing her clothes to emit faint sounds.

Li Yifei motioned for the Saint not to stand, taking a bite of his burger, slowly chewing. Black Tiger strode to the table, glaring down at Li Yifei from a dangerous proximity. If Li Yifei and the Saint suddenly attacked, Black Tiger would be in peril, but neither acted. Black Tiger then asked aloud, "Are you Li Yifei?"

"And you are?"

"Black Tiger!"

Li Yifei looked up at Black Tiger, nodded, and said, "Indeed, fits your name."

"Heh, keep eating, finish this meal, and I’ll send you to hell!"

"You actually know about hell, you mongrel!" Li Yifei stated calmly.

Black Tiger’s breath hitched, about to strike, when White Sheep pulled him back, saying, "We haven’t had breakfast either, might as well eat. You need energy to fight!"
