I changed the world.

"Huh...huh..."

An Huiling was panting heavily. Beside her was a monster whose head had been separated from its body. It was the kind of monster that looked like a skinned person but had no eyes.

Although she had been quite careful, she hadn't expected the monster to have been hiding in the roadside bushes. An Huiling was caught off guard and was taken aback when the monster suddenly rushed out of the bushes. In particular, this seemingly eyeless and slow-moving monster was much more agile than an ordinary adult when it attacked, charging at her like a wild dog that had broken free of its reins. If she hadn't already embarked on the right path of cultivation, and her reaction, perception, and even strength were far superior to those of ordinary people, she would have definitely been injured.

Even so, An Huiling was still quite frightened.

This real experience of being on the brink of life and death was something she, a rich girl, had never experienced before.

An Huiling made up her mind that if she could escape this time, she would definitely go to her senior brother's place to study hard, especially in swordsmanship and other techniques...

Wiping the sweat from her forehead, An Huiling checked her surroundings. There was another tear on her gauze dress, caused by the monster's sudden attack. Combined with the tear that had already occurred, An Huiling's gauze dress was now like a tattered rag.

Frowning, An Huiling simply took off her gauze dress, leaving her only in a tank top, which looked rather revealing.

Her face flushed slightly, but since there was no one around at the moment, An Huiling rested briefly before continuing on her way.

She was not far from the seaside villa at this time. Fortunately, the rest of the journey was quite smooth, and she did not encounter any monsters. About fifteen minutes later, An Huiling finally arrived at the outskirts of the villa.

Because it was a separate area, the beach surrounding the villa was equipped with protective netting, and there used to be security guards at the entrances and exits. However, at this moment, everything was empty. An Huiling stood about a hundred meters away from the protective netting, silently peering from a rooftop to observe the situation in the direction of the villa. From her current position, she could see that there were no security guards at the entrances and exits of the protective netting, and the guardhouse was empty, without a single person.

However, besides that, several of those eyeless monsters roamed inside the protective netting. Entering the room without alerting a single one of them seemed like a very difficult task.

An Huiling estimated the height of the protective netting. She figured she could use her "Earthly Fiend Forbidden Technique: Levitation" to leap over it. However, the netting was equipped with an automatic alarm system, and the villa area had its own power supply, so the alarm shouldn't fail automatically. If she entered by unauthorized means, the alarm system would likely sound at a high decibel level. This could very likely attract other known or unknown monsters…

Since that's the case, another way is to find a way to get in through the normal route...

An Huiling frowned as she glanced at the monster wandering within the protective netting, then gritted her teeth…

After all, she had already killed a monster. An Huiling felt that although ordinary people would find this kind of monster difficult to deal with, it didn't seem to be that difficult for her.

However, before forcing our way in, we should try to sneak in.

………………

The infiltration ultimately failed, proving that the "Earthly Fiend Forbidden Technique: Blinding" seemed largely ineffective against these eyeless monsters. These perceptive creatures clearly didn't perceive objects with their eyes; even the slightest noise would startle them, and they would pounce.

Fortunately, as long as one is prepared in advance and remains calm, these monsters are not too difficult to deal with. During the process of entering the protective net, An Huiling quickly killed two more monsters that rushed towards her at the sound.

It has to be said that, to some extent, monster-hunting is a skill that requires practice to master. At least, An Huiling now feels that she can handle a monster relatively easily.

However, so far, she has not heard any sound from inside the villa.

An Huiling's heart sank deeper and deeper, but she still carried a sliver of hope as she walked toward the villa's gate.

The villa consists of three buildings: one main building and two auxiliary buildings. The main building is where An Huiling and her family live, while the two auxiliary buildings are for servants and bodyguards.

The beach around the villa was still deserted, with only the tides rising and falling in the distance. A thick fog blanketed the sea, just like in the resort area, with everything shrouded in an ominous gray fog.

As An Huiling walked further, her heart sank. She didn't hear any sounds of living beings. With her perception that was beyond that of ordinary people, she would normally be able to clearly hear the voices of people inside the house from outside.
