Hazark frowned and scrutinised Ved, his massive hand reached out to grab Ved but a blast of mist hit him on the face.
" Hands to yourself Hazark." Soran hissed forcing him to back off. The woman who came with Hazark kept glaring at Naledi.
Naledi glared black defiantly. " Can I take this one as my student?" She suddenly asked while looking at Soran.
Soran waved her tail as if to say she didn't care. " How will that work though, she's from our universe, you will train your own enemy?"
Soran asked, the woman shrugged. " I don't care, this war is to strengthen ourselves to begin with, it's not like we're actual enemies.
This girl, she's comprehended the supreme law of space, since the ancient time, there's only been one person to do that."
She too scrutinized Naledi. When Hazark heard that he paused. " Wait, if he's the successor of the king and has comprehended creation and destruction.
She has comprehended time and space, they're together, doesn't that mean?" That realization hit him like a hammer.
Hazark and the woman next to him, Elena were very old, much older than Soran and stronger than her too.
They were the strongest sovereigns of their universe, only below that one monster who's even older.
They've lived in an era where the universes were connected, before the great war. They grew up during the reign of the two supremes.
The king of beasts and the ice queen of humans. While those two started as enemies.
They ended up loving each other so much they died in each others arms. Elena thought of something crazy.
' Could they be?' she immediately dismissed that idea. " Little girl, how would you like to be my student?" She asked Naledi.
Naledi looked at Ved and he just shrugged, it was her decision and he had no plans to stand in her way.
Naledi nodded then shook her head, she was about to speak when everybody felt all of Pangera shake.
They looked up and saw dark clouds covering the entire sky. Rain fell and every living creature felt it.
Pangera was crying. " A sovereign has fallen." Soran whispered sadly but her words made Naledi and Ved pause.
' What could kill a sovereign?' they both wondered with fear. Elena immediately took action.
She grabbed all of them using her great spatial law. Naledi was surprised when she detected it.
They teleported across Pangera and reached the source of the destruction that caused all of Pangera to shake.
What they found was nothing but an endless hole that seemed to go down endlessly, if that was all then things would be fine.
Above them, the sky was also ripped to shreds and hundreds of galaxies above Pangera were destroyed.
All that was left in their place was a void of darkness that seemed to devour everything, that darkness was spreading.
" The void." Elena whispered with a deep frown and acted. Space warmed around that darkness.
It was sealed and unable to continue spreading any further. Even though Elena was but from Pangera.
She was deeply worried, after all they were allies below the heavens and had a common enemy.
Plus she could sense the laws or rather the lack of laws around this deep hole, she knew void power had been used.
Which could only mean a sovereign rank fallen or an envoy or higher had taken action here.
" I sense life in that direction." Hazark spoke and Elena teleported them there. The first person they saw was Fenral.
A massive silver wolf stood majestically but there was a large gash on his body that kept bleeding.
While it appeared as if he was bleeding actual blood, it was actually laws that were falling off his body.
If this continued, even his cultivation might regress, unfortunately what had caused this wound was so powerful he couldn't remove it on his own.
" What happened here?" Soran asked with worry. She looked around and noticed something.
One of her daughters was missing, the oldest who had just reached sovereign realm.
She had followed Fenral back to earth. " Fenral where's my daughter?" Fenral looked down with shame.
" Fenral she's fine right, please tell me she's fine, please tell me you just sent her somewhere else, please I'm begging you."
Tears larger than buildings started falling off her shake eyes. How was that even possible was not clear.
" Soran, I'm sorry, your daughter..she was brave." His words shattered the last hope that she had.
She cried, the cries of sovereign reverberated across all of Pangera, her tears mixed with the rain.
Her sorrows resonated with that of Pangera and the rain turned salty like tears yet those touched by it felt themselves gain new strength.
Ved watched this old being crying and realised something. The sovereigns were not much different from mortals.
The love of a mother was not something that ever disappears. Speaking of mothers he remembered his adoptive parents.
Suddenly it dawned on him, these people were supposed to be protecting earth but where earth was supposed to be..
" No." He whispered and Naledi who was lost on her thoughts also realised. Both found their bodies shaking with fear.
They looked around and eventually saw the people they were looking for. Avery sat down with her wings covering her head.
Ved flew close to her then head her muffled cries. He looked around and realised, she was the only Raven around.
He knew immediately what had happened but she wasn't the only one. All of earth had been destroyed.
Ved didn't disturb her and let her grieve. He saw others like Ho, but he still didn't see the person he was looking for.
He had heard from White that a lot had left Earth, including Evergreen. She was actually the last person Ved expected to leave.
Then he remembered that years ago in an auction he once saw pills that he knew from her.
Now he suspected they were made by her, he was glad most of his friends had left but his adoptive parents and sister were still on earth.
He searched for a while then he saw her, Traxy was sitting on the ground like a giant mountain.
She was many times larger than he was, he saw two turtles next to her and felt relieved then he noticed a problem.
His law of life made him sensitive to life so why was he not feeling anything.
