Azeroth: Starting with Eagle Eye in the Necropolis

"These new units don't seem to be melee fighters. Do they have any special abilities?" Jaina nodded and asked.

"Haha, you've come to the right person. Come on, gods and monsters, use your abilities to cast a group blessing spell on us." Rhodes gave the order directly.

Strictly speaking, our troops are organized into three groups: the Golden Man Group, the Fire Element Group, and the Holy Light Element Group.

In the game, the three gods and monsters could only cast one beneficial spell on each of the three units, but now, as long as there are no more than 9999 people in a certain area, they can all be affected by these beneficial spells.

Rhodes ordered all troops to gather together, with himself and Jaina standing in the middle.

The three divine monsters immediately floated up, and then three beams of light descended upon everyone.

Prayer (Advanced): A warm and vibrant golden halo swept over all units. Rhodes, Jaina, the Holy Light Elemental, the Divine Light Elemental, and the Golden Man all felt their bodies filled with explosive power, their movements became more agile, their senses sharper, and their attack power, defense, and speed were all enhanced!

The first random spell was quite good; it was actually a prayer, which is arguably the strongest buff spell of the support type.

Stone Skin (Advanced): Immediately afterwards, a thick, shimmering, earthy-yellow rock armor phantom covered the surface of all units. The golden man's metal shell seemed to be plated with an indestructible rock, and the radiance of the holy light element became more solid. Even Jaina's arcane shield was tinged with a layer of earth-based protective aura, greatly enhancing physical defense!

Attack Acceleration (Advanced): Finally, a cyan gust of wind wrapped around the feet of all units, the heavy steps of the golden man became lighter, the movement of the holy light element was like golden lightning, the floating trajectory of the god monster became more erratic, and the speed of the entire team suddenly increased by a level.

One spell enhances the group's defense, another increases the unit's attack speed, and the third increases the attack speed—three quite useful spells.

"My God, this is incredible! They can actually cast spells on us automatically. These are support units," the female mage said in shock.

I originally thought it was a combat game, but it turned out to be a support game.

Rhodes smiled. The God-Monster Lord's combat strength was not bad. The only one who could make him his support was Titan.

Chapter 73 Shadow Anomaly, Giant Beetle, New Magic Scroll

“This is the power of the Titan creations, Gina. Their purpose is to make our allies stronger! Now let’s go meet those ‘VIPs’!” Rhodes said with a smile.

Jaina nodded excitedly, enveloped by the powerful buffing aura continuously emanating from the three divine beings.

This peculiar alliance of light, fire, and metallic lifeforms marched toward the first target Jaina had indicated—the prison cell holding the "Void Creatures."

The sealing runes in the target cell were noticeably dimmer than those in other areas, and an unsettling, eerie energy flow, neither light nor darkness, seeped from the crack in the door. Jaina gestured for a halt, and with a light tap of her staff, a burst of arcane energy precisely destroyed the fragile node maintaining the seal.

The cell door slid open silently, and what came into view was not a physical monster, but two constantly writhing, changing shapes, seemingly torn apart by space itself—void anomalies!

They have no fixed form, sometimes resembling liquid shadows, sometimes like shattered stars, emanating a strong sense of spatial distortion and mental pollution, attempting to directly erode the mind of the intruder.

"Be careful! Their mental attacks are very strong!" Jaina immediately warned, while casting a stronger arcane mental protection barrier on herself and Rhodes.

However, under the all-around enhancement brought by the "Prayer" spell, Rhodes and Jaina's mental resistance was far greater than usual. The Void Aberration's mental shriek, which was enough to drive an ordinary mage mad, only made the two feel a strong dizziness and nausea, but did not cause any real damage.

"Holy Light! Purify these twisted beings!" Rhodes roared.

The four Holy Light Elementals, radiating divine light, directly dispelled the darkness, while the Time Fire Elementals charged forward together, unleashing scorching flames to attack the opponent.

As the Holy Light elementalist made his move, Rhodes didn't stand idle either, immediately using Holy Light Flash.

The four Holy Light Elementals, like four golden lightning bolts, instantly rushed into the cell. The pure light of order emanating from them was the absolute nemesis of this chaotic void creation!

In the hands of the Holy Light Elemental, a spear of light appeared, formed entirely from the power of Holy Light.

Wielding the light spear, it pierced the core of the aberration. Divine energy, like a red-hot iron inserted into butter, emitted a piercing "sizzle." The void aberration twisted and contracted violently, emitting a silent wail.

With the divine "attack acceleration" buff, the ten fire elementals moved with ghostly speed, blocking the cell exit and unleashing scorching flames at the void energy attempting to escape or disperse. While the flames couldn't directly annihilate the void like holy light, they could repel, scorch, and restrict its movement.

This dark variant has no physical body, so even if it manages to escape with the slightest remnant, it will be resurrected and must be completely eliminated.

Three golden figures stood silently guarding Rhodes and Jaina, while three divine beasts floated above their heads. This battle could be left to the elemental army; they didn't need to lift a finger.

Rhodes didn't even bother to summon Solomon to unleash a chain lightning attack, since Solomon only had enough mana for one attack.

The battle ended faster than expected. Under the absolute control of the Holy Light and the overwhelming power of multiple buffs, the two dangerous Void Aberrations were quickly purified and evaporated, leaving only a few wisps of rapidly dissipating, charred stardust-like traces in their place.

Meanwhile, Rhodes also received a system notification.

[A glorious victory! You have gained XXXX experience points!]

[You have defeated a powerful unit and gained additional resources: 4 units of sulfur and 5 units of gems!]

This time, the notification didn't show any hero kills or magical wilderness structures; it only rewarded a little bit of resources, but even a little bit adds up.

[Your Eagle Eye spell failed to work; you have learned a new spell.]

Unfortunately, Eagle Eye didn't learn any shadow magic either. These two shadow aberrations only instinctively attacked and manipulated shadow power, and did not cast shadow spells.

The elimination of their first target boosted their confidence. They remained largely inactive throughout the battle; Rhode only used two Holy Light Flashes, while the female mage manipulated fire elementals the entire time without firing a single ice arrow.

"This is amazing, Rhodes! I feel ridiculously powerful right now." Jaina's face was flushed; the thrill of controlling fire elementals in battle was simply too exhilarating.

The fire elementals obeyed her commands completely, and the battle went incredibly smoothly.

“This is just the first one. Let’s go, we’ll head to the next target location.” Rhodes said with a smile, and Jaina nodded and followed Rhodes.

The next target was the cell where a giant faceless beetle was imprisoned. Even before they got close, a thick, nauseating aura of shadow and the rustling sound of carapaces rubbing together emanated from it.

The seal was broken, and a gigantic beetle, the size of a small siege tank, covered in a thick, purplish-black carapace, with sharp mandibles and countless compound eyes, burst forth! Its carapace was covered in viscous shadow energy, and it emitted a sharp hiss.

In terms of size, this thing is even bigger than the Golden Man. After seeing this monster, Rhode knew that the Holy Light and Fire elements couldn't deal with it and he had to send out the Golden Man.

Jaina stepped forward and used her arcane staff to open the cage. The moment the cage shattered, the giant beetle charged forward.

"Golden men, you go!" Rhodes immediately ordered, and at the same time used his remaining mana to release a protective shield that enveloped everyone.

Then, he used the Curse Possession and Slow spells on the monster in front of him. Some strange red light appeared on the beetle, and some mud appeared under its feet. The two negative spells weakened the opponent instantly.

The three golden figures, empowered with "Attack Acceleration," "Prayer," "Protective Shield," and "Stone Skin Protection," charged forward and directly blocked the giant beetle, which resembled a siege tank, preventing it from advancing an inch.

The golden men have now transformed into terrifying physical damage output machines!

Their heavy metal fists whistled through the air as they slammed into the beetle's head and joints like pile drivers.

Each heavy blow was accompanied by a deafening crash of shattering carapaces and the beetle's agonizing screams! Their protective stone skin and divine shields allowed them to ignore the beetle's sharp limbs as it retaliated.

The fire elemental focused its firepower, spraying flames at the gaps in the beetle's carapace and its relatively vulnerable joints. Amplified by the "Prayer" spell, the flames crackled and popped as the carapace burned, evaporating the shadow slime and releasing a foul stench.

The light spears and holy shockwaves of the four holy light elementals slammed into the beetle's thick carapace. The light spears, imbued with holy light, collided violently with the chaotic shadow energy, producing a loud bang. The areas on the carapace that were hit quickly carbonized and cracked!

The giant beetle let out a painful hiss and frantically swung its scythe-like forelimbs in retaliation.

This beetle was clearly much stronger than the two shadow creatures from before; the golden man at the front had already been injured by them.

Although it injured the golden man, the giant beetle wasn't much better off; its shell was ulcerated in many places, and it was being relentlessly attacked by fire and holy light elements.

Jaina, meanwhile, unleashed "Frost Nova," "Frostbolt," and "Ice Lance" from the rear.

Freeze the beetle's limbs to restrict its movement, and continuously bombard the cracks in its carapace with "Arcane Missiles" to expand the victory.

Rhodes tentatively cast his newly learned magic, "Healing," on a golden man who was slightly sluggish from being scratched by a beetle's sting!

A soft, life-giving green light enveloped the golden man, instantly restoring his negligible damage!

This scene left the female mage beside her completely astonished. Was she kidding? What kind of magic could heal these magical constructs?

"As you can see, the guardian taught me a very special kind of magic that can heal not only living units but also some constructs."

"For example, these magical creations can all be healed by this magical spell, and the effect is much better than the healing of holy light," Rhodes said with a smile.

Of course, it consumes more resources than Holy Light, so Holy Light magic is more cost-effective for healing living units.

"It's truly peculiar, um, incredibly magical!" The female mage was at a loss for words; she could understand healing living beings.

But you're treating constructs, are you kidding me? Something seems off here.

The Shadow Beetle was quickly killed by the Allied Forces' ferocious attack, its massive body turning into a charred mess emitting black smoke.

[A glorious victory! You have gained XXXX experience points!] Although you have gained experience, you have not yet reached the level-up standard.

[You have received additional resources: 4 units of sulfur! 2000 units of gold.] Rare resources, plus several thousand units of gold, that's pretty generous.

As for Eagle Eye, there were absolutely no hints, but this guy is a pure melee character who has never cast any spells, so there's no way to steal it.

There were no nests or special buildings in the wild, but they did find a treasure: another earthen-yellow scroll.

You discover an exquisite jar inscribed with ancient script, inside which lies an ancient scroll. After taking out the scroll, you feel yourself filled with magical power.

This scroll contains a level 2 spell, and it's the most powerful single-target level 2 spell: Thunderbolt.

This spell is awesome! Although it consumes a lot of energy, its power is far greater than Magic Arrow. Not bad, not bad, this is another great skill for stealing kills.

Moreover, like the Scroll of Summoning Fire Elementals, female mages can also use it. This spell is different from summoning magic; it is a lightning spell, and only shamans in the world of Azeroth can use it. Mages do not have lightning spells.

"Rhodes, don't tell me the Guardians rewarded you again." Seeing Rhodes's state, Jaina seemed to have guessed something.

"You're so smart, Gina, you've even learned to answer first! That's right, I got something good again, a new magic scroll."

Chapter 74 Titan's Thunder, Lightning Strike the Demon

Upon hearing this, Jaina was speechless. Was this Titan Guardian living inside Rhodes? Or was Rhodes himself the Titan Guardian in disguise?

Every time, they would suddenly give you something; every time, they would suddenly bring out a magical treasure.

Moreover, Rhodes' origins are too mysterious. Jaina now strongly suspects that Rhodes is the Titan Guardian she mentioned, and that there is no messenger or anything like that.

This suspicion is not without reason. It might be understandable if it happened anywhere else, but this is Dalaran! How exactly did this Titan Guardian manage to deliver things to Rhodes without a trace?

"Gina, you don't look well. Is something wrong?" Rhodes asked the female mage.

"It's nothing. Rhodes, what kind of magic is recorded on the magic scroll you obtained this time?" Jaina asked.

Could it be another summoning of some other elemental creature? Or perhaps it's legion support magic unleashed by Rhodes and those Titan creations?

"It's not summoning elemental creatures, nor is it the buff spell I cast before, but an offensive spell called Thunderbolt." Rhodes smiled and took out a tan magic scroll from his system inventory, its appearance almost identical to the previous fire elemental magic scroll.

However, unlike the summoned elemental which has a magic lamp on top and fire elemental flying out, this one is a giant lightning bolt.

Thunderbolt is an extremely high-damage spell. Without any skill bonuses, it consumes 10 mana points and can deal (strength x 25) + 10 damage.

Basic air magic reduces mana cost by 2 points, intermediate air magic increases damage by 20, and advanced air magic increases damage by 50.

There are now four points of strength, which multiplied by 25 equals 100 points of damage. Adding the 10 points of damage that come with it, you can deal 110 damage.

“Lightning Bolt! I remember some orc shamans, and some murloc shamans, seem to be able to cast a kind of magic effect called lightning, right?” Jaina asked, frowning.

“No, no, no, it’s completely different from Chain Lightning. How about this, we’ve been partners for so long, this time I’ll let you cast this offensive spell first.” Rhodes smiled and handed the Thunderbolt spell scroll directly to Jaina.

The female mage didn't stand on ceremony and accepted it directly.

"Then I'll give it a try. I'm quite looking forward to this new offensive spell, after all, it's lightning magic."

"We're heading to our next destination."
